In a significant move ahead of the 2027 general elections, leaders and critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State have unanimously endorsed Hon. Akintunde Emmanuel Olajide for re-election into the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The endorsement was reached at a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held on Friday, where party chieftains expressed strong confidence in the incumbent lawmaker’s performance and capacity to continue delivering effective representation.

Meanwhile, several major aspirants who had earlier indicated interest in the seat welcomed the stakeholders’ decision and pledged their full support for the party’s choice.
