During his tour of the facility on Wednesday, Hon. Kamorudeen who was received by the facility’s MD, Air Vice Marsha Asimiyu Awoyoola—praised Nutslink’s advanced processing operations, which aim to position Nigeria as a key player in the global cashew market. “This is a bold step toward prosperity,” he said. “Nutslink is not just processing cashews; it’s creating opportunities and empowering our people sustainably.”

The council chairman lauded the dreamers and builders behind Nutslink Limited for choosing Oyo State, and specifically Lagelu, as their base. “To the visionaries who saw potential in our land, we are deeply grateful,” he said. “Your decision to establish this remarkable facility here is a testament to the conducive environment created by Governor Seyi Makinde’s investor-friendly policies, which have been a game-changer for Oyo State’s economic landscape.”  He tied Nutslink’s mission to the state’s broader economic vision, noting that Governor Makinde’s policies—such as improved infrastructure and investment incentives—have attracted businesses like Nutslink, positioning Oyo State as a hub for industrial growth. “The dualization of Akobo-Olohunda Road and projects like Wofun-Kute Road complement ventures like this, ensuring seamless connectivity for investors,” he said.
