The Chairmanship candidate of peoples democratic party in Lagelu, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen on Tuesday commended a new empowerment funds disbursement attributable to the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency chairman, Hon. Abideen Adetokunbo Adeaga, in Lagelu local government area.
Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen appraised the empowerment program, and described the agency’s chairman as a positive force in the local communities.

In new interview with Yes 101.7fm, late Thursday, the Chairmanship candidate of Peoples’ Democratic Party, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen revealed a promise of best practice to put Lagelu on the pathway to effective growth and development.
During the radio interview, Kamoru maintained he’s of the very strong opinion that an unceasing engagement with people and their communities; trust and confidence of people in their own government; responsible leadership, and sound social programs are best practices to help put Lagelu on track for wholesome growth and development.
“I have always held what I call a utilitarian view of political participation: the entire purpose of politics, is the advancement of society. This is what has guided my participation in politics”.
“We’re going to closely engage with local communities on sundry issues of relevance to local development, and to the understanding of governance delivery, in our own clime”, Kamoru averted.
Further in his conversation with “Oselu Gbode” program anchor, Ademola Adesokan, the chairmanship candidate said what the Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde is doing with governance is a confidence for any of chairmanship candidates under the peoples’ democratic party flagship today.

The chairmanship candidate on Wednesday morning delivered an eulogy to press honoring the life, achievements and many impacts of his master.
In his eulogy, Mr. Kamoru praised Balogun Joseph Adeseye Famojuro (JAF), saying “he as much as anyone in history brought many young generation leaders to limelight”.
Kamoru’s eulogy for JAF reads;
“The life of Balogun Joseph Adeseye Famojuro, our JAF, is in so many ways, exceptional. JAF is a mentor to young people, including me. He’s a man who wants only the best for his people, his followers—he not only embraced that responsibility, he made it his life’s work”.
“We come to celebrate an extraordinary man, a warrior, a statesman, a patriot, who embodied so much that is best in leadership. I’m among the fortunate people to ever be brought to limelight by him. He made me better, just as he made every other young chap around him”.
“No doubt, our JAF is all that any of us might ever hope for in a leader. Not just a leader who has faith in his followers. It is actually more than that for JAF. The fact remains that JAF has been very proud to see a new generation of leaders crop up”.
“What a God’s own blessing and gift JAF is. We are all so lucky to have had him walk us through political life, and show us the way”.
“I should be clear that we have put ourselves at disposal of this God’s greatest gift to us, and have affirmed to remain committed to his legacy, to follow in his footsteps, and to remain devoted to his path and mission, both in politics and in governance at large”, Kamoru remarked.
In a major development, the Association of Farmers in Lagelu local government area has openly declared its overwhelming support for Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen (Kamoru), the Peoples Democratic Party’s chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming local elections in Lagelu.
The farmers group at the start of the week on Tuesday attended a meeting at Garri Factory, Iyana-Offa— to learn more about Peoples Democratic Party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen’s plans to help bolster rural agriculture in the local government area.
The main speaker was Alh. Mansoor Olakanye, president of the Farmers Association. A sizeable number of peoples democratic party members and stakeholders from around the local government area were also on hand.
At the event, the chairmanship candidate shared his plans on rural-wide agriculture with all local farmers— stressing that he’s considered agriculture as a major area of focus for local growth and development in his administration.
The group of farmers in turn recounted the varying challenges confronting rural agriculture.
