The First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde has been commended for her remarkable act of compassion, delivering essential provisions to six orphanage homes in Lagelu Local Government Area. The Chairperson of Lagelu, Mrs. Taiwo Abibat Mudashiru, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the community, describing the gesture as a radiant example of love and leadership that uplifts the most vulnerable.

In a statement filled with admiration, Mrs. Mudashiru praised the First Lady’s selfless act, noting that the provisions—comprising food, care items, and other essentials—have brought immediate relief to the children while planting seeds of hope and dignity for their future. “With a heart as vast as the promise of our shared humanity, the First Lady has kindled a light of hope that shines brightly in the lives of so many,” she said. “This gesture, woven with quiet grace, shows us what it means to lead with love and bind us together in the sacred work of kindness.”
