The executive chairman of Lagelu local government area, Hon. Kazeem Gbadamosi has congratulated a stalwart of Lagelu-PDP, Alh. Fatima Oyegbori over her appointment as member to the Oyo pilgrim welfare board by the Oyo State government.

The executive chairman in a statement by his office described Oyegbori’s appointment as the only possible end result of her ingenuity, resilience, leadership and hard work in the peoples democratic party.

“Let me be clear, Mrs. Fatima Oyegbori has a proven track record of leadership, resilience and hard work in grassroots political process— and her recent appointment by the state government can only be the possible end result for these”, he said.

Recalling on the three of state appointments slotted to Lagelu at the close of 2023— and now the new one at the start of year 2024, the council chairman reportedly thanked the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his consideration on what he termed a “Big Win” for Lagelu in state appointment.

Congratulating Oyegbori, the executive chairman averted that the peoples trusts are in her ingenuity, integrity and resilience to serve and give her best in her new role.
